Installed Base Evaluation
What is it?
An Installed Base Evaluation (IBE) is an on-site service delivered by Westburne Service Technicians that provides you actional intelligence. This evaluation can be used to make data-driven decisions to better manage the support and obsolescence of your installed-base assets.
Ask yourself these 3 questions:
- Do I have an accurate plant model that identifies all of the physical assets in my plant?
- Do I know which products are still being manufactured?
- Do I have the right spare parts available if a critical machine goes down?
How it works
Field Collection - On-site data is collected throughout the plant by a Westburne Service Technician.
Processing - Off-site processing and analysis is performed to determine plant lifecycle risks and overall MRO inventory status.
Delivery - Westburne provides the critical data and a recommended path forward in a consultative approach.
The Value
Identification of product lifecycle status via plant hierarchy
Discovery of legacy obsolescence risks
Documentation of excess/shortage of spare parts
Establish migration & conversion priorities
A baseline for determining a strategic maintenance program
