22422X15 LINERLESS SPLC COMP 2
Scotch® Tape 2242 is a linerless 30 mil thick, general purpose, electrical rubber tape that's suitable for bus bar insulation and moisture sealing of cable ends. The high voltage, flame retardant tape ensures excellent tacking with its self fusing, ethylene propylene rubber resin adhesive.
To ensure proper general splicing and terminating of wires and cables, use Scotch® Tape 2242. Its reliable physical strength and electrical performance seals away moisture, and it's highly conformable and leaves no void buildup thanks to its flexible rubber backing. And the linerless backing make it easy to install. This all-weather rubber tape is resistant to UV damage, heat and flame, and it stays stable in temperatures up to 194 degrees F (90 degrees C). For worry-free use, this product is ASTM Approved and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
