Dave Syer joined Westburne as Vice President in 2017 and leads our team of over 1,000 people in more than 100 locations across the country. He is particularly proud of Westburne’s people; the many who have enjoyed lifelong careers at the Company, and those who are its future. He is eager to support Westburne’s people in transforming the company and seizing the opportunities presented by today’s rapidly changing circumstances.

Prior to joining Westburne, Dave held senior leadership roles in the electrical industry in both distribution and manufacturing, spanning much of the industry’s breadth. Dave is passionate about the electrical industry, and is grateful to it and its people for the opportunities he’s been provided. He has been involved throughout his career in a range of industry committees and charitable initiatives.

Dave is a Ryerson Business graduate, and father of three boys, now young men in their 20’s. He is compulsively curious, is an avid reader and traveler, a passionate sailor, a decent chef, and an occasional guitarist.
